Quieta is published by Quieta SAS (RCS Paris 103 396 552, 58 rue de Monceau, 75008 Paris, France). It is a desktop application you install on your own computer. A Quieta subscription gives you a licence to run the app, plus updates and support for the duration of your subscription.
Paid subscriptions are sold and invoiced by Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"), acting as our Merchant of Record. Refunds are processed through Paddle.

If Quieta isn't the right fit, email us within 30 days of your first paid purchase for a full refund, no questions asked. This guarantee applies regardless of where you live and comes in addition to any statutory rights described below.
Statutory rights — by jurisdiction
EU / EEA consumers
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of your purchase, under articles L.221-18 and following of the French Consumer Code (EU Directive 2011/83/EU). Because Quieta is digital content and an online service delivered immediately, if you request immediate access to the paid features and acknowledge losing this right, it ends once the service is fully performed. Your rights under the French legal warranty of conformity (Code de la consommation, art. L.217-3 and following) and against hidden defects (Code civil, art. 1641) remain unaffected.
UK consumers
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you also have a 14-day cancellation right with the same digital-content carve-out. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (software of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, as described) remain unaffected.
US customers
US federal law and most state laws do not grant a statutory "cooling-off" period for online digital purchases. Our 30-day money-back guarantee above applies regardless. California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah and similar state consumer protection laws remain unaffected.
Other jurisdictions
You keep all mandatory consumer rights available where you live. This policy does not limit them.
Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel anytime from your account to stop the next renewal. We don't refund billing periods already consumed.
For annual plans, reach out within 30 days of a renewal if you haven't used the app during that period. We'll review case by case.
What happens when your subscription ends
When your subscription ends or is cancelled, Quieta automatically switches back to the free plan. You keep access to the app and to all your local files and settings. Paid features become unavailable until you renew or start a new subscription.
We always refund when
- You were charged twice by mistake.
- A technical defect prevents Quieta from running on a supported platform and we can't fix it in a reasonable time.
- You're entitled to a refund under applicable consumer protection law.
How to request
Email hello@quieta.ai with the email address on your account, your order number (from your Paddle receipt), and a short reason. We reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds land on your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days, processed by Paddle.
