# Quieta

Detection and masking run on your own machine, with no cloud step. Quieta pseudonymizes (each real value maps to a pseudonym kept locally) and restores the real values when the AI's answer comes back.

## What it does
- Works with your clipboard (any app), AI in your browser (Chrome extension), and AI agents (Mirror). One local-first engine, several ways in.
- Mirror keeps two folders in sync: yours in clear, and a masked copy the AI agent works on. Files the agent produces come back with your real values restored. Built for coworker AI like Claude Cowork, Mistral Work and Codex for Work. Covers Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF and code.
- Runs on macOS and Windows. No data ever reaches Quieta's servers.
